Linking the 'order of Road traffic' with the 'order of the House'

This project is based on an interesting metaphor created by matching the social and interior elements around us. Various elements of the transportation system are responsible for the social part of our lives. These are factors that create absolute balance in relative life, and we are going to reinterpret this as IOT devices in the house.

Now, what are the various balances needed in the house?

본 프로젝트는 우리 주위에 있는 사회적인 요소와 실내 인테리어적인 요소들를 일치시키며 생기는 흥미로운 은유를 기반으로 하고 있다. 교통 시스템의 다양한 요소들은 우리 삶의 사회적인 부분을 담당하고 있다. 이들은 상대적인 생활 속에 절대적인 균형을 만들어주는 요소이며, 이 것을 집 안의 IOT 기기들로 재해석 해보려고 한다.

지금, 집 안에 필요한 다양한 균형들에는 어떤 것들이 있을까?

Among the various elements that make up the order system of the road, 4 important elements were selected and connected with hardware to be located in house. Traffic lights, traffic signs, road signs, and tubular marker have been selected, and expect to create a new order system of house.

도로의 질서 체계를 구성하는 다양한 요소들 중에 4가지 중요 요소를 선별하여 집 안에 위치할 하드웨어로 연결하였습니다. 신호등, 교통 표지판, 도로 표지 그리고 시선 유도봉을 선정하였으며, 집 안의 새로운 질서 체계를 만들어가길 기대합니다.

Traffic Sign, Air Purifier

Road traffic signs are public products that provide control points for social safety to various entities on the road. The indoor air environment is displayed numerically, and you can interact with the user through lighting.

도로교통표지판은 도로 위의 다양한 개체들에게 사회적인 안전을 위하여 제어점을 가져다 주는 공공제품입니다. 실내 대기환경을 숫자로 표시하여 주며 라이팅을 통해 사용자와 인터랙션을 가질 수 있습니다.

Just like road signs that tell people to do their own thing in a fixed place, the air purifier will silently improve the air environment in the house.

정해진 곳에서 자기 할 일을 하는 도로표지판처럼 공기청정기도 집 안의 대기환경을 묵묵히 개선해나갈 것입니다.

Fire Hydrant, Humidifier

Fire hydrants are important public products that quickly solve urban fire accidents. We propose metaphor as a way to solve the frequent dryness that occurs in the house where the humidifier is.

소화전은 도심 화재사고를 빠르게 해결해주는 중요한 공공 제품입니다. 가습기가 집 안에서 일어나는 빈번한 건조를 해결해줄 수 있는 방향으로 메타포를 제안하고 있습니다.

The number of water vapor outlets operating depends on how dry the atmosphere is. Up to 3 intensity changes will further improve the environment in your home.

대기가 건조한 정도에 따라 작동하는 수증기 배출구의 수가 달라집니다. 최대 3단계의 세기 변화를 통해 집 안 환경을 더욱 개선할 것입니다.

Traffic Light, Wi-Fi Router

Traffic lights are public goods that are central to road order. It is connected with various public works on the road. Wi-Fi Router also plays a role in controlling various devices in the house, which is consistent with the metaphor of traffic lights.

신호등은 도로 질서의 중심이 되는 공공 제품입니다. 도로의 다양한 공공물들과 연계되어 있습니다. Wi-Fi Router도 집 안의 다양한 기기들을 컨트롤하는 역할로 신호등의 메타포와 일치합니다.

The three signals of the traffic light are minimalized and expressed in a single color. The status can be conveyed intuitively by changing the lighting according to the amount of reception.

신호등의 3가지 신호를 미니멀화하여 단일 색상으로 표현하고 있습니다. 수신량에 따른 라이팅 변화를 통해 직관적으로 상태를 전달할 수 있습니다.

Tubular Marker, AI Speaker

Tubular Marker focuses the driver's attention to prevent accidents and guides them to the right path. AI speakers can likewise focus on the auditory elements of the indoor environment and lead to effective use of IoT devices.

시선유도봉은 차량 운전자들의 시선을 집중시켜 사고를 방지하고 올바른 길로 인도해주는 역할을 합니다. AI 스피커도 마찬가지로 실내 환경의 청각적인 요소들을 집중시키면서 효과적인 IOT기기 사용으로 인도해줄 수 있습니다.

It can be easily separated just like the Tubular Marker, which is an installation type product. Sustainable use is pursued in a speaker environment where follow-up management is essential due to high usage.

설치형 제품인 시선유도봉처럼 손쉽게 분리가 가능합니다. 사용량이 많아 사후 관리가 필수인 스피커 환경에서 지속 가능한 사용을 추구하고 있습니다.

Various public products that improve the order of the road traffic environment are expected to have a positive impact on the user's life scenario by improving the environment in the house this time.

도로교통 환경의 질서를 개선하는 여러가지 공공 제품들, 이번엔 집 안의 환경을 개선해나가며 사용자의 라이프 시나리오에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐나갈 것을 기대합니다.
